From the foot hills of the Appalachian mountains in Northeast Alabama lies the small communities of Spring Garden, Rockrun Station , and Nances Creek, and Hayden, AL and now Chattnooga TN This is where the Bent Creek Band started. We love to play and sing for people and respect the Bluegrass music and its elders. We would like to thank God for giving us this talent. Casey Murray - Banjo
One of the highlights of the band is Casey Murray, a banjo prodigy. He came straight out of the baby bed with a banjo in his hands. He is the youngest in the band and the only one with a sponsorship. He is sponsored by Gibson Banjos and GHS Strings. We are real proud to have him with us and we think he is the greatest banjo player in the world.

Michael Clements - Guitar/Vocals
Michael has been playing bluegrass since he was 7 years old. He played with his mother and father in their band. He is a great addition to the band, With his powerful vocals and guitar picking he is one of the best. He alos has his own solo project out Michael Clements Faces in the crowd you can purches one of his cd's at the cd table at our shows. He is a graduate from University of North Alabama as a Music Major. AKA Superman
Keith Maddox - Mandolin/Vocals
The comedian of the bunch. The biggest member with the smallest instrument, Keith plays the mandolin and sings lead/harmony vocals. Keith also enjoys hunting, he is the woodsman of the bunch. He also enjoys spending time with his son Luke Duke. We call him big chop!!!
Eddie Murray - Bass/Vocals

Terry Penny - Guitar
The only man in the world that can hide completely behind a microphone stand. He does a fine job of playing rhythm guitar for us. He also serves as the band's bus driver.

John Boulware - Fiddle
Biography:
John Boulware’s musical heritage stretches back for generations. His great-great-grandfather Will McWatters played fiddle, as did his grandfather Brice Bagley. John was inspired to take up the instrument at the age of twelve, and has since learned a wide variety of styles ranging from Celtic to bluegrass to old time. He performs regularly at regional festivals and contests, and has been a featured soloist twice with the Murfreesboro Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. John holds a National Beginner Division Country Musician Guitar Championship, 2 consecutive age division titles at the Tennessee State Fiddle Championship, and recently became the 2006 overall State Fiddle Champion for Tennessee. John currently resides in Kimball, TN. He performs and teaches guitar and mandolin in addition to fiddle.
